Exploratory and Initial data analysis (EDA and IDA)

Exploratory Data Analysis typically refers to the critical process of performing initial investigations on data to discover patterns, to spot anomalies, test hypothesis and to check assumptions with the help of summary statistics and graphical representations.

Data Analysis is defined as a process of inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modelling data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions and supporting decision-making. However, in Initial Data Analysis, one refrains from answering original research questions.
